How To: Dress Your Bump (Part 3)
There’s no hiding it now, with your bump in full bloom it’s getting harder and harder to find clothes that are comfortable, let alone fit. Damn you Blake Lively for making it look so easy!
Don’t break your water just yet, we’ve found some awesome outfits that will help turn your walk from waddle to wonderful:
Have a lunch, cocktail or cards party to hit up? Stress not – Anamika Khanna, the reigning mistress of fashion, knocks it out of the park with her ombre silk dress and embroidered cape. Soft and loose flowing, the dress is easy to wear on even the most uncomfortable days, and the cape will draw attention away from the belly. Wear it with your hair half up and a pair of theatrical earrings to finish off the look.
Feel like being a bit more dramatic? Then pop on this bronze oh-so-cool asymmetrical ‘anarkali’ with matching leggings by Shantanu and Nikhil. Free flowingly fabulous, this look will totally shield The Bump whilst keeping you totally on point. Add to the drama and wear it with your hair up and a pair of statement earrings.
For a more traditional event, try Payal Singal’s black asymmetrical anarkali with gold detailing. Fitted on the shoulders and flaring out from just under the bust, the anarkali gives even the most prominent of Bump a more streamlined finish. Wear it with your hair down, and a matching maang tikka and earring set to complete the look.
