What you wear matters! Here’s our list of dos and don’ts, depending on your body type.                                                                                           

Apple Shape

For those who carry most of the weight above their waist, and lack a well-defined waist falls under this category. Buy tops with a low neck, or V-neckline to draw the eyes upwards and away from the tummy. Make sure, you buy tops with a thicker texture so that they don’t cling too much. You don’t want to draw attention to your stomach. Trousers should be flared or straight and not cling to tummy or thighs. Pencil skirts also fit perfectly for this body type.

Inverted Triangle Shape

If your shoulders are wider than your hip-line and you have great, slim legs, this is your body type. Wear anything that will make your hips and thighs look fuller and rounder, which includes ruffles, pleats or even wide and flare leg jeans. Wear bright colored bottoms, so that it draws attention to your great legs. Shorts are also great for you. So are peplum tops as they highlight your waist and make you appear curvier.
